Piekarnie Nadmorskie Sp. z o.o. has supplied bread to Polish retail chains since 1992, growing from a single neighbourhood bakery into a group of two production plants on the outskirts of Gdańsk. Close to 850 people now work across three rotating shifts, producing chilled loaves for next-day delivery alongside a frozen par-baked line that ships to distribution centres across the Baltic coast, together totalling around 900 tonnes of bread and rolls a month. Both plants hold IFS Food certification and run dedicated allergen-control zones for the gluten-free line, alongside a private-label programme that now covers eleven supermarket brands. Recipes range from rye sourdough proofed for eighteen hours to par-baked rolls destined for in-store bake-off counters, and every batch is tracked from flour delivery through to despatch.
